Why do real estate video's cost more than 360 degree virtual tours?
By comparision real estate video tours are labour intensive with editing, licensed soundtrack, scripting, narrating, encoding and uploading. Additionally, the equipment, time and labour involved is considerably more than is needed for a virtual tour.
Virtual tours are photographed with a special mirrored lens, that produce a fisheye photo of the rooms. Because of the "fisheye" effect, 360 degree virtual tours do not give the viewer a true perspective of the property. By comparison, video footage not only gives the viewer a true perspective but is also more engaging with music or a narrated script.
